This is the redesign for NBC17.com completed in the Summer of 2008. It features a clean useable layout that is easy to navigate and to read stories. Not long after the launch of the new design the traffic NBC17 slowly began to grow and by the start of 2009 the traffic increased by more than 50%. This website was created for the Daniel Boone Wilderness Trail one of the nations most historic routes, stretching from Kingsport, TN to Kentucky. The Daniel Boone Trail features a very creative parchment design which turned out to be a complicated CSS design to complete. It also features an interactive flash map of the trail. MyNC Blogs was launched in the summer of 2008. It is the blog network for all the community and employee blogs at NBC17. It is a creative fun desgin that includes a jquery slideshow dispalying featured blogs and a right sidebar that displays all recent posts from the network of blogs.
